Mike Amiri teamed up with visual artist and collaborator
Wes Lang for the much anticipated
Amiri AW22 collection, which featured intricately layered, deeply integrated re-imaginings of Lang’s iconic artwork.
For the show, Optical Animal created animated iterations of a selection of Lang’s original work and developed a 360˚ immersive environment surrounding the runway, in a fully digital interpretation of the artist’s studio as envisioned by Mike Amiri.
OA also supplied two simultaneous legs of a global mobile projection campaign in the same week, providing production in both New York and Los Angeles.
